JAPAN DATA: Nov. 22-28 oil product exports rebound 23% to 2.4 mil barrels

Japan's oil product exports rebounded 23.1% week on week to 2.396 million barrels over Nov. 22-28, according to data released Dec. 2 by the Petroleum Association of Japan.

Gasoline exports came in at 593,222 barrels in the week to Nov. 28, more than double from 263,268 barrels in the week ago, with gasoil exports surging 36.9% on the week to 177,686 barrels.

Exports of jet fuel stood at 412,265 barrels in the week ended Nov. 28, more than double from 173,686 barrels in the week earlier, while kerosene exports plunged 58.9% on the week to 187,442 barrels.

Exports of high sulfur fuel oil rose 6.6% week on week to 671,533 barrels in the week to Nov. 28, with low sulfur fuel oil exports hiking 34.3% on the week to 281,962 barrels.

LSFO imports dived 55.4% week on week to 13,209 barrels in the week over Nov. 22-28. There was no HSFO imports in the week to Nov. 28. PAJ's weekly petroleum statistics cover only fuel oil for imports.
