TFG Marine starts bunkering operations in areas along US Gulf Coast

Global bunker company TFG Marine has commenced marine fuel supply operations in key lightering areas along the US Gulf Coast, the company said on Nov. 5.

Its latest operations cover Corpus Christi, Galveston, South Sabine Pass, South West Pass and Louisiana Offshore Oil Port, the company said in a Linkedin post.

This comes as the company continues to expand its presence worldwide.

"TFG Marine is rapidly scaling up its global footprint, which already includes extensive bunkering operations in South and West Africa, Panama and Ecuador, with plans to announce further developments in Asia, as well as in Europe and the Americas," the company had said in a statement in April.

In April, the company was also granted an approval by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore to become a bunker supplier and a bunker craft operator serving ships visiting Singapore, the world's largest bunkering port.

TFG Marine is a global marine fuel supply and procurement company created by Trafigura and shipping firms Frontline and Golden Ocean.
